This is a 36 year old Fender Japan Dave Gilmour Stratocaster in excellent condition that was made in 1989/1990. It is a Fender Japan I-Serial number. This beautiful guitar features genuine Fender USA Custom Shop Fat ‘50s single coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge positions, (USA) CTS 250K pots, (USA) CRL pickup selector switch, (USA) Cornell Dublier .05uf Orange Drop Capacitor, 0001 serial numbered neck plate (like Dave’s), anodized gold aluminum pick guard, Gotoh vintage tuners in gold.
The guitar features all gold hardware which includes Fender tremolo bridge and arm, Gotoh tuners, jack plate, end pins, tree string and pick guard mounting screws. The neck plate and mounting screws, are chrome.
The neck is solid maple with a 7.25 radius, C profile, 42mm nut, 25.5 scale with vintage style frets. Fret wear is minimal on this guitar.
There are some very light blemishes as can be found in the pics, namely a small blemish on the back of the horn, and on the back of the neck. Request pics and we'll send them out to you.
