This Fender Japan JV Vintage Stratocaster was made on September 7, 1983 by Fender Japan which offers unsurpassed quality in guitar craftsmanship. The Japanese are huge fans of Deep Purple and Rainbow so it's not surprising that Fender Japan replicated his guitar (legally) the first chance they could in 1983.
