The Fender Stratocaster was first introduced in 1954, and saw its first revision in 1957. By 1962, the Stratocaster and Telecaster went through major changes which included rosewood fretboards, 3 tone sunburst, and 3 ply pickguard. Stevie Ray Vaughn popularized the '62 Strat Sunburst. The '62 Strat features Fender USA Vintage Pickups, S5D Vintage block bridge and vintage style frets. Its a beautiful instrument.
