We are proud to have a Kramer Ripley with maple banana headstock come into the shop. This is a particularly rare guitar and a first for us. This guitar is in excellent drop dead beautiful condition and comes with it's original splitter box (see our guitar pics page). The guitar features Made in West Germany Schaller tuners, Floyd Rose tremolo system, Bartolini humbucker in the bridge position, original case that it came in (which doesn't say Kramer on it), Schaller hex allen wrench holder and strap end pins. The serial number on this guitar is E2072. The back of the neck has a plastic strip which says October '85. It's the plastic strip style that was used in the '70's and '80's so I am a assuming that's the date it was made.
The Kramer logo on the neck has faded away but can still be seen in the light. I have added more pics of the headstock on our guitar pics page. The neck is straight on this guitar with only minimal fretwear. By the way, this Ripley has the factory installed LED in it. It's a beautiful guitar and a particular rarity in the Kramer Pantheon of guitars.
