This Fender Japan '62 Telecaster Custom came into our shop a few days ago and is in excellent-excellent near mint condition. This guitar features Fender USA Parts and is only $799. Here is what the guitar features:
Body: solid alder 2 piece center seam construction
Color: 3 Tone Sunburst w/double white (looks like cream) binding
Serial Number: Made in Japan U024902 - 1995
Neck: solid maple neck with rosewood fingerboard - zero fretwear, brand new neck
Pickups: Fender USA '62 Telecaster Single Coil bridge pickup and unidentified single coil neck pickup
Tuners: Vintage Telecaster Tuners in chrome, made by Gotoh of Japan. Brand new.
Pickguard: 3 Ply white - black - white pickguard
Control Plate: Fender USA Control plate w/ Fender USA 250K pots in the volume and tone positions, Fender USA 3 position telecaster switch, Fender USA Barrel Knobs, Fender USA Top Hat Switch Tip
Hardware: Fender USA chrome end pins, Switchcraft jack, Fender USA Chrome Ashtray Bridge Cover, ESP (Japan) 9 gauge strings.
This guitar is in excellent condition, if you take a look at our GUITAR PICS page, you will see that near the Jack Cup, there is a small blemish on the body, which is a bit of paint that has been cracked. It is not noticeable while playing (not even while playing either), and most certainly doesn't effect the tone, playability or resonance of the guitar.
