We at TommyGuitars are proud to have Marilyn walk into the shop this week and put herself up for sale.
In the past we have had some particularly rare Kramers in stock, including Lynch Bengal Tigers, Mars Mirror Top Teles, Double Necked Samboras, actual signed Samboras by the man himself, but this one has got to take the cake. The Kramer Marilyn Monroe Baretta. This one is number 17 that Kramer artist Dennis Klein has produced back in 1987.
Featured are its original parts, Schaller (Made in West Germany) tuners, Floyd Rose (Made in West Germany) Tremolo System, Schaller locking end pins, Schaller Hex Allen Wrench Holder (wrenches included, though not shown), Seymour Duncan JB humbucker in Zebra (white and black), Switchcraft cannon jack, original 500k pot with .001uf green cap, original green wiring, Serial numbered F 0044. This guitar dates to 1987 which is also the date painted under Klein's name.
There are a few blemishes on the guitar which don't take away from the overall beauty of the instrument. The neck is straight with minimal fretwear and the body and neck still shine after all these years. The guitar features it's original parts. Also, included is a brand new non-Kramer hard case. (Actually, the case is a Buddy Blaze hard case that we happened to have in stock).
