This beautiful Fender Esquire '54 RI in Honey Scotch Blonde was made by Fender Japan in 1991 and is in very good condition. Specifications on the guitar are as follows:

In looking at this Esquire '54 RI, its interesting to see how Fender was in a mid-way transition between the '52 Telecaster and '62 Telecaster. Elements from the '52 include: chrome domed knobs, barrel style switch tip, 3 brass T-saddles (instead of the spiral barrel saddles), round string guide, single ply pickguard. Elements from the '62 include an 8 hole pickguard.
This Esquire is in good condition with some blemishes which can be seen on our GUITAR PICS page. The neck is straight and fretwear is minimal. The tone on this 22 year Esquire is beautiful and it has a deep resonance. If youre looking for a piece of Fender history, you found a great guitar.
