Just when you thought you've seen every Kramer out there in the Universe, our shop is offering this rare beauty up for auction. The Kramer Orange Tatsuya CK-110. It is guitar is listed on the world famous Vintage Kramer Site under the Japanese Advertisements link.
This solid body guitar was made by Kramer Japan/ESP in the late '80's and is the signature model of Japanese guitarist Tatsuya. It was sold in the domestic Japanese market and was not exported abroad, which is why most Kramer enthusiasts are perhaps unfamiliar with this model. The guitar is in excellent condition for its age with only two blemishes which can be seen in the pictures below. The neck is straight with minimal fret wear and made of solid maple in a reverse Stratocaster headstock configuration.
Featured is an Original Floyd Rose Tremolo System in black, KH-100 humbuckers and KB-80 single coil in a Hum/Single/Hum pattern, Gotoh sealed tuners, volume control and 3 way pickup selector toggle switch. The locking nut is a Floyd Rose R2 and the serial number is B28923
For the Kollector who has every model in the Kramer Kosmos, the Tatsuya Orange CK-110 stands at the pinnacle of rarity. Its a beautiful guitar with an incredible shine. It plays fast up and down the neck. For the record, the photos of the orange look a bit blurry, as do photos of red guitars, however the guitar is actually shiny.
