This is a beautiful Fender Telecaster Custom '62 Re-Issue in Sunburst finish that dates to 1997. This Fender guitar has been professionally modified to replicate the '62 Telecaster Custom that Andy Summers' of The Police plays. This guitar was Crafted by Fender Japan in 1997. Like Andy's Telecaster, a genuine Gibson PAF (Patent Applied For) Neck Pickup, an in-phase/out-phase pickup toggle switch and a six saddle brass bridge have been professionally installed. The guitar is in excellent beautiful condition. Andy added the in/out phase switch to his Tele to help him achieve his 'Floating Cloud' effect.

There are no major or for that matter, very noticeable blemishes on the body of this fine Tele. The fingerboard shows some wear (see GUITAR PICS page). The neck is straight with minimal fretwear.
